1. About these terms
Tawfiq Careers ("Tawfiq Careers", "we", "us", or "our") is a career, document, and digital consultancy based in Al Murabba, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, serving clients across Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "the client") and Tawfiq Careers and govern your access to and use of our website and services.
By contacting us, placing an order, making a payment, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Our services
We provide professional consultancy and document services, which may include (without limitation):
- ATS-optimised CV and résumé writing, cover letters, LinkedIn profile optimisation, executive bios, and job-application support;
- Academic editing and proofreading, formatting and referencing, data-analysis support, and related research assistance;
- Business documentation such as business plans, company profiles, pitch decks, proposals, and reports;
- Digital and creative services including website design, application development, digital marketing, and graphic assets.
The exact scope, deliverables, price, and timeline for your engagement are confirmed in writing (by WhatsApp, email, or our contact form) before work begins. That written confirmation, together with these Terms, defines your project.
3. Placing an order
A project is considered confirmed once (a) we have agreed the scope and fee in writing and (b) the agreed deposit or full payment has been received. We may decline or discontinue any engagement at our discretion, including where a request is unlawful, unethical, or outside our expertise.
4. Fees and payment
- Prices are quoted in Saudi Riyals (SAR) unless stated otherwise and are exclusive of any bank transfer or payment-processor charges, which are borne by you.
- Unless agreed otherwise, full payment is due before delivery of final files. Some projects require a non-refundable deposit to reserve a production slot.
- We do not store card details. Payments are processed through third-party providers or direct bank transfer.
5. Turnaround and delivery
Standard turnaround for single documents is typically 48 hours from receipt of full information and payment; larger projects take longer, as quoted. Timelines are estimates and start only once you have supplied all required information. Delays caused by incomplete information, slow feedback, or third parties are not our responsibility. Final files are delivered by email or a shared download link in editable (e.g. .docx) and/or PDF format as agreed.
6. Revisions
Each package includes a defined number of revision rounds within a set period (typically 14 days from first draft), as stated in your written confirmation. Revisions must be consistent with the original brief. New requirements, added sections, or a change of direction are treated as new work and may be chargeable.
7. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all information, documents, credentials, and materials you provide.
- You confirm that you own or are authorised to use any content you send us and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.
- You are responsible for reviewing final deliverables before you use, submit, or publish them.
8. Intellectual property
Upon receipt of full payment, ownership of the final deliverable created specifically for you transfers to you. We retain ownership of our underlying know-how, templates, frameworks, and pre-existing materials. Unless you have signed a confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement with us, we may reference anonymised or redacted samples of our work for portfolio and marketing purposes without disclosing your identity.
9. No guaranteed outcomes
Our services improve the quality, structure, and presentation of your documents and profiles. We do not guarantee any particular result, including but not limited to job interviews or offers, salary levels, university admission or grades, visa approvals, investment, or business outcomes. Hiring, academic, and funding decisions are made by third parties on criteria outside our control.
10. Academic and professional integrity
Academic services are provided for editing, proofreading, formatting, coaching, and research-support purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that the way you use any deliverable complies with the rules, honour codes, and policies of your institution, employer, or regulator. We do not support plagiarism, impersonation, misrepresentation of qualifications, or the fabrication of experience.
11. Confidentiality
We treat the information and documents you share with us as confidential and limit access to personnel and vetted subcontractors who need it to deliver your project, each bound by confidentiality obligations. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Cancellations and refunds
- If you cancel before work has started, we refund any amount paid less any non-refundable deposit and payment-processing costs.
- Once work has started, refunds are pro-rated to reflect work already completed and are at our reasonable discretion.
- No refund is available after final files have been delivered, except where required by applicable law. Concerns about quality are addressed through the revision process.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to our services is limited to the fees you paid for the specific project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost opportunities, profits, or data. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
14. Third-party services
Our website and communications rely on third-party tools such as WhatsApp, email providers, embedded maps, analytics, and payment processors. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the competent courts of Riyadh.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order applies to that order. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
